Before Your Tile Installation
The first step to prepare for your installation is to remove all furniture from the room. Next, you'll need to address your old flooring. If you have old flooring that has to be removed, there may be some work involved in getting the exposed surface ready for your tile installation. Contact us for more information on proper removal and disposal of your old flooring.
During Your Tile Installation
Once the room is emptied, your old flooring has been removed, and your subfloor is ready for installation, the next stage of installation can take place. Depending on the state of your subfloor, we may need to first install concrete backer boards before we install your tile. From there, our installers will trim your tile, spreading mortar and grout as they carefully place them.
New tile will need time to cure and solidify, so you'll need to stay off of your new flooring for around 48 hours after the job is finished.
